This was a commission for :iconspiritofthwwolf: of his OC, Dovetail. She's the heroine of his upcoming fanfic called "Pure Hearts", a sidestory to "Fallout Equestria".

It's password protected for now because it's not quite ready to be revealed. But save the link, if you're interested in reading it when it is available! I've been granted the privilege of previewing the first few chapters, and I really enjoyed it so far. I'm looking forward to reading more! :)

As far as this piece goes, I gotta say it's been my favorite commission to work on so far. I improve so much with each piece of art I do. I really pushed myself hard on this one, and I think it shows. :)

As a side note, I put the feathers in as kind of an artsy whim - she's actually an earth pony, not a pegasus. Just with her name being "Dovetail" I thought... feathers! White feathers! OoOooOOoOOoo.... /crawls back away... I can remove them if they cause too much confusion. ^^;

Jeez. I can look at her like... forever.
She's so beautiful yet so different from FoE characters. I'm in love with her. And I'm definitely going to read "Pure Hearts" now.

FYI: I dunno, but this images somehow goes perfectly with Eisbrecher - Prototyp track.

Beautiful picture, I love the brushwork on her hair :D The expression is complex and compelling... for some reason I keep thinking the "61" on her collar is... more real than the rest of the image, but maybe I'm just silly? :P
